Resulting from several consecutive years of writing, the new album "Colin-Maillard" is the culmination of a sound exploration and a long-term quest for style. For Mantisse, the project takes the form of a truce with the past that generates a dialogue with his new “me”. He lays the foundations of his anxieties there and tries with all his might to find a balance in the opposition of his moods. On October 7th at Le Ministère of Montreal, Mantisse is preparing to deliver them as is to the public on the occasion of the launch of his very first solo album, to be released on September 16 under the label Disques 7ième Ciel.
